One of the few family established, owned and operated dental and denture clinics in Brisbane
In 1989, after 11 years working together with their father, Tony and his brother purchased the Dental Laboratory originally located in Wickham Terrace, from their retiring father who had already operated a successful service for many years.
In 1992 the Denture Clinic was opened at Coorparoo and by 1994 it made sense to merge the two clinics and operate solely at the Coorparoo location at 277 Old Cleveland Road, Coorparoo.
As a second generation Dental Prosthetist, Tony has an absolute mastery of dental and denture procedures, issues and treatments. This knowledge and experience is reflected throughout his business in his staff and services.
Our Dental Team
Mr Tony Wood
Tony began his dental prosthetist career joining his brother and sister at his father’s dental laboratory, in Brisbane’s CBD. This was a real family business. In 1992 Tony and his brother opened Coorparoo denture clinic which Tony took full ownership of in 2000 and operated as the sole Technician / Prosthetist.
Tony is dedicated to providing the best service possible to his clients. In his spare time, Tony is a keen road cyclist, regularly placing in competitive road racing.
Dr Anh Huynh
When Anh joined “Coorparoo Denture” in 2001 he enabled us to become a full one stop dental clinic. We then became “Coorparoo Dental & Denture Clinic” offering our patients savings on time and money.
Anh brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with a Bachelor of Dental Science from Adelaide University and over 15 years working, owning and operating his own dental practice for 3 years. He has worked in various dental practices in NSW, Victoria and joined our practice in 2001.
Dr Paul Mienert B.D.Sc (Qld)
Dr Paul was born and raised in Queensland, graduating from the University of Queensland in 1995 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and dental sleep medicine and provides quality veneers, crowns, clear aligners, implants and SomnoMed Avant sleep apnea anti-snoring MAS appliances. Paul been providing dental care for over 30 years and in that time has built an outstanding reputation. His extensive experience, attention to detail and caring manner make Coorparoo Dental & Denture your number one choice.

Lisa Lyons
Receptionist/ Assistant practice manager and Dental assistant
Lisa is a familiar face to many patients at Coorparoo Dental and Denture Clinic, having worked here since 2002. Lisa has been Anh’s primary senior Dental Assistant for the last 24 years.
As well as Dental assisting, Lisa is assistant to Tony and his denture patients as well as assistant practice manger to Sandra.
Lisa can be found either chairside or on reception and is our clinic all rounder with many years of experience on hand.
Praise Manzie
Dental Technician/Prosthetist
Praise graduated with a double degree in Dental Technology and Dental Prosthetist in 2019 from Griffith University. She joined our dental family start of 2020 as a dental technician. Since then, she has been mentored by Tony Wood to be an all-rounder dental prosthetist/technician. She is now a fully registered dental prosthetist who is eager to gain more experience and further develop her knowledge about removable prosthetics.

Tammy Le
Dental Assistant/Reception
Tammy has been working with us as a dental assistant for 6 years. She has become a familiar face to many patients chairside and at reception. She is passionate about being part of a team that helps people take care of their dental health and especially enjoys greeting patients upon arrival.
